Pressure Reducing Valve
AKO pressure reducers without auxiliary energy refer to the force required for pressure control from the medium to be controlled. The pressure adjustment takes place with the aid of the pretensioning of a setpoint spring. The controller is designed for liquids and non-flammable gases. As a seal, depending on the application, metal bellows seals or a membrane seal are used.
The valve is controlled by means of the force compensation between the force specified by the setpoint spring and the force resulting from the medium pressure. If the set back pressure is reached, the valve closes.
